Grow the next generation of growers, mindful eaters, and land stewards!

We have a mission—and a deadline. To keep our programs rooted and growing, we need to increase KFH’s monthly income by $1,500 by MAY 24th.

Right now, hundreds of young people across the Kearsarge Region rely on our farm and garden education to learn, eat, and thrive. But we can’t sustain this vital work on hope alone. We need sustainable, predictable support.

Education is the foundation of a healthy food system and engaged community. When we reclaim the knowledge of how to grow and cook our own food sustainably, we’re building skills of self-sufficiency and community care, caring for our planet and natural resources, supporting our youth and feeding not just our bodies, but our spirits.

Why Monthly Giving Matters

  • Stability: Your monthly gift ensures our educators are in the gardens every single week.
  • Growth: It allows us to expand our reach to more local schools & students.
  • Impact: Every dollar goes directly toward feeding young minds (and bellies) with hands-on experiences and learning.

The Challenge We face

  • An Aging Crisis: The average NH farmer is 59 years old. We need new hands in the soil.
  • Environmental Strain: With 50% of the Earth’s topsoil lost in the last 150 years, regenerative practices aren't just an option—they’re a necessity.
  • Youth Wellbeing: In an increasingly digital world, our children are facing a mental health crisis.

How can we combat these incredibly challenging global realities? We tackle them here at home one where we have the most potential to make a difference. This is where YOU come in!

Monthly donors nourish farm education at the Kearsarge Food Hub. Your monthly support fuels curriculum-based farm and forest programs, earns high schoolers graduation credits through internships, and builds a community of empowered growers.

Right now is an exciting time for farm and garden education at KFH because we’re in the midst of impactful growth:

  • Establishing new gardens at Kearsarge elementary schools, with the goal of having garden education programming at all four schools;
  • Partnering with Sunset Hill Educational Institute to relaunch Farm + Forest Club and serve families with kids ages 5-12 in all four seasons;
  • Working with Kearsarge Community Commons to help high schoolers get meaningful, hands-on farming experiences for school credit;
  • Sending free weekly Seasonal Gardening Newsletters to 1,200 home gardeners, reclaiming skills of how to grow food in our own backyards;
  • Envisioning the future of Sweet Beet Farm in our strategic planning process!

We can’t do it without the predictable support of our monthly donors.

Will you be the one to bridge the gap? Whether it’s $10 or $100 a month, your commitment ensures that the next generation of Kearsarge kids stays connected to the land.
